The stats of the weekend: milestone Janssen, Den Bosch’s defence impresses
Jip Janssen reached a milestone at Kampong on Sunday, whilst the Den Bosch women’s defence is performing exceptionally well. Here are the figures from the past weekend.

3 – Amsterdam forward Fay van der Elst contributed to three-quarters of Amsterdam’s goals in the away match against HDM (0–4) with three assists.
4 – Bottom-of-the-table Victoria failed to score for the fourth consecutive match round , currently the longest run of any team.
5 - Den Bosch kept a clean sheet against Victoria for the fifth consecutive time in this league. The club record (and also the overall Hoofdklasse record) is still a long way off: that stands at ten clean sheets in a row.
6 - With eight points from their first six matches, Oranje-Rood are enjoying their best start to a league campaign in six years. In the 2020–2021 season, the Eindhoven side also had eight points after six matches.
7 – Kampong forward Iris de Kemp scored her seventh goal of the season against Oranje-Rood (2–2), thereby equalling her personal record from the whole of last season.
9 - Den Bosch’s 9-0 victory goes down in the record books as the biggest win of the season. For Victoria, it was the fourth time in Hoofdklasse history that the team had lost an away match by a nine-goal margin.
