The Den Bosch women’s team kept a clean sheet for the fourth time in a row, whilst the Schaerweijde men’s team suffered their heaviest ever home defeat. Here are the figures from the past weekend.

Staatsloterij Hoofdklasse Women

1 – Bloemendaal secured their first win of the season against HDM (1–0).

2 - After five match rounds, two teams remain unbeaten: league leaders Den Bosch and their closest rivals, SCHC.

2 - At the bottom of the table, there are still two teams without a single point: HGC and Victoria.

4 - Den Bosch won 0-2 away at Amsterdam and kept a clean sheet for the fourth match in a row.

4 – This is the fourth timein the club’s history that Den Bosch have conceded no more than one goal after five league matches. This season, only Maria Steensma (Pinoké) has managed to score against the league leaders.

5 – Charlotte Schrijvers (Oranje-Rood) has already scored five goals after five match rounds. That is already more than she scored in the previous two full seasons combined.

8 - In the regular league, Amsterdam have now gone eight home matches without a win against their two main rivals in the Hoofdklasse, Den Bosch and SCHC (G4 V4).

9 -Pinoké forward Maria Steensma scored her first-ever Hoofdklasse hat-trick against Victoria and is already the ninth player this season to score three goals in a single match.

8 -Rotterdam’s eleven goals this season have come from no fewer than eight different players, the most of any team.

11 -Frédérique Matla scored once for Den Bosch against Amsterdam and has now found the net in the Hoofdklasse for the eleventh consecutive match round. She has scored a total of twenty goals during that run.

17 -Yibbi Jansen caused Hurley further trouble. The SCHC midfielder scored both goals in the 2–1 victory and has now scored seventeen times against the Bosuilen in the Hoofdklasse, more than against any other team.

17 -Rotterdam secured a victory over Kampong for the first time in seventeen years, thus ending a run of thirteen matches without a win against the Utrecht side.

32 -Pinoké’s five matches have already seen 32 goals scored, the most of any team. Pinoké have scored fourteen goals themselves and conceded eighteen.

36 - Following her hat-trick against Victoria, Steensma became Pinoké’s new all-time top scorer in the Hoofdklasse with 36 goals.

40 - Kampong suffered a 2–0 defeat at Rotterdam and failed to score for the first time in forty away matches. This brought a record run in the club’s history to an end.

1 – Tilburg finally scored their first goal of the season in the fourth match round: it was scored by penalty corner taker Noud Borsten in the match against Kampong (1–6).

1 - National champions Rotterdam won 5-2 at home against SCHC, securing their first points of the season after three consecutive defeats.

3 - After four match rounds, three teams are still waiting for their first win: Pinoké, Tilburg and Schaerweijde.

4 - Bloemendaal won 0-2 away at HDM and kept a clean sheet for the fourth consecutive time in a match against the Hagen side.

4 - Oranje-Rood forward Struan Walker has scored four goals after four match rounds: all of them came in home matches.

4 – After four match rounds, Pinoké are still waiting for their first win of the season. Never before has the club started a Hoofdklasse season without a win for this long.

8 - Schaerweijde were thrashed by Amsterdam: the 0–8 result is the heaviest home defeat ever suffered by the Zeist-based side in the Hoofdklasse.

8 - For Amsterdam, the 0–8 result marked the second-biggest away win in Hoofdklasse history. Only in their away match against Push in the 1994–1995 season did the team win by a wider margin: 2–12.

11 – After four match rounds, eleven different Bloemendaal players have already scored, the most of any team.

15 – Den Bosch forward Thierry Brinkman scored his first two goals of the season against Pinoké. He has now scored in fifteen consecutive Premier League seasons, the most of any player still active.

23 – Schaerweijde have already conceded 23 goals after four match rounds. Only EMHC in 2003–04 (25) and Laren in 2010–11 (24) have ever made a worse defensive start to a Hoofdklasse season. Remarkably, Schaerweijde themselves had also conceded 23 goals after four matches in the 2023–24 season.

28 – Thanks to their 4-1 victory over Klein Zwitserland, Oranje-Rood remained unbeaten in the regular league for the 28th consecutive match. Only five times in history has a team ever had an even longer unbeaten run.
